Jenny Apostol’s (2020) essay “The Desire We Were Becoming,” which appeared in The Kenyon Review, Winter 2024, was named a notable essay in The Best American Essays 2025.

Bill Capossere’s (2010) micro play “A Beautiful Day to Garden” was performed May 21, 2026. His full-length play A Fall of Warm Snow was given a script-in-hand reading on June 16, 2026.

Alicia Hoffman’s (2015) full-length poetry collection, Browsing as a Guest, was published by Gnashing Teeth Publishing on May 19, 2026.

Emily Holt’s (2016) essay “Something Natural” was short-listed for the Southword Creative Non-Fiction Award and will appear in the Summer 2026 issue.

Elissa Favero (2024) read in Seattle on May 8, 2026, as part of the 2026 Jack Straw Writers Program.

Kalehua Kim’s (2025) debut poetry collection, Mele, received the inaugural Pasifika Poetry Award from the Asian Pacific American Librarians Association.

antmen pimentel mendoza (2025) was awarded a full fellowship from the Vermont Studio Center for a residency in summer 2027.

Vandana Nair’s (2021) novel, Wedding, was published by Santa Fe Writers’ Project on June 2, 2026.

Warren Read’s (2015) novel, The Light Between the Pines, will be released by Ig Publishing in September 2026.

Tina Schumann’s (2009) poetry collection, Boneyard Heresies, was reviewed by The Los Angeles Review and The Summerset Review.

Tarn Wilson’s (2008) chapbook, Astronauts in Leaky Spacesuits Cancel Their Intergalactic Passports, will be published in July 2027 by Finishing Line Press.
